This was an incredible experience!! The bed was cozy, everything was clean and organized, and there was coffee creamer in the fridge!! I have to say that was an awesome touch, I have never seen coffee creamer even available in a hotel room - let alone in the refrigerator! 10/10 experience!!

This place was so lovely!! It was right in the heart of Bangor, easy to access with street parking, next to a bar/ bakery/ coffee shop, with clear instructions, and a beautiful room in an old/ rejuvenated building. I was so impressed with the delicious, locally roasted coffee that was provided for us to enjoy in the morning as no one else does this. Thank you so much!!!!!! It was truly noticed and appreciated. The room was fabulous. The shower was wonderful. The bed and pillows were comfy. We very much enjoyed staying here♡

This is a centralized boutique hotel that is in the heart of downtown Bangor Maine...just a few minutes walk to any of the local restaurants and bars - including the Maine savings amphitheater. I highly recommend staying here as thus is definitely the best value for your dollar. The rooms were well equipped with a comfy bed and clean room and bathroom. The hist was exceptionally helpful with his communication and was prompt in answering any inqueries I had. 10 star + !!!

The location was amazing! The room was spacious and very clean. Very comfy bed. Easily accessible with key codes. It’s a little loud, with neighbors, but nothing a ear plugs can’t fix

Perfect spot in the middle of it all but quiet in the room. Coffee shop in lobby is awesome, clean updated bathroom with a comfy high quality mattress and sheets. Everything you need to recharge and enjoy the city a few steps away. Excellent value, already booked again for another trip!

Absolutely loved our stay here! It was a bit loud on a Friday night, as there's a karaoke bar right across the street, but it didn't bother us. I was sick for part of our trip and I couldn't have asked for a better place to be stuck in bed. The room was spacious and filled with natural light from the massive windows. Would recommend this place to anyone taking a trip to Acadia National Park!

Great place right in the heart of downtown bangor. Super easy check in process, room was very nice, clean, and as desribed. I would recommend for anyone looking to stay 1 or 2 nights!

I come through Bangor 3/4 times a year on business and almost always opt to stay at The Phenix...great rooms, especially for the price...super convenient location...easy check-in/check-out. thanks as always

Enjoyable stay. The hotel was attractively decorated in a minimal modern style. Bed was very comfortable. The coffee shop Chimera served excellent coffee and cakes and sandwiches. All the communications with the owner / operator team were clear and efficient. I used the email link provided and got effective responses to questions within minutes. The Wifi is excellent. The location in the historic district offers some good options for a night out.

The Phenix in Bangor is awesome, loved the historic building. It has a cool, modern vibe and the room was spotless and comfortable. The self check in was quick and easy, and the location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shops downtown. Parking takes a little planning, but overall it’s a great value and I’d stay again.
