Beautiful place to stay in the heart of downtown Bangor. Tasty coffee in the room, plus a coffee shop on the first floor. Walkable to restaurants, bookstores, shopping and more. The staff were very communicative and answered all of our questions. Will definitely stay here again!

Second time staying here, and I'd keep coming back! Clean, comfortable, and right in the heart of Bangor. The coffee in the room was fresh from the shop next door and was an absolutely nice touch.

The Phenix was such a great place to stay. While being very clean, the host was very responsive and helpful. The room was even better than what we thought it would be. I will definitely be recommending to friends and family and definitely will be coming back!

This was my second stay at The Phenix, and it was another flawless experience. Nice bed and shower, quiet and clean. I love the Chimera Coffee in the room, and it was walking distance to take in a play at the Bangor Opera House. This place is a gem!

Look, Times are moving ahead~ If we are talking Bangor Metro in comparison to NYC, and I don't know if any of you travelers stayed at the Paramount~ Why stay on the outskirts of Town when its happening right there in the middle of it~ Maine/Soho? check it! Thanks

Excellent location in the heart of downtown Bangor. Parking was extremely easy @$6 in the garage parking right around the corner. No need to worry about snow removal. Our bed was comfy and we felt right at home. Our second stay with the Phenix! If available, we will come again. Thank you for a terrific stay!

Perfect location - steps away from great bars and restaurants and very short drive to other parts of town. Great coffee shop at bottom floor. Easy access and excellent communication. Great space. Recommend if you’re in town.

We love The Phenix! It is our go to spot when we are traveling to the St. John Ferry in New Brunswick and need a night in Bangor. We have dinner at Barliman's and it's always a delight. Highly recommend!
